Ingredients:
To make herbal keema cake you need,
- 1 & 1/2 cup cooked chicken keema (cooked with herbs & black pepper)
- 1 cup Maida
- 1/2 cup rice flour
- 1/2 cup whole wheat flour ( Ata)
- 3 large eggs
- 3 tsp brown sugar
- 3/4 cup extra virgin olive oil/ refine/butter
- 1 & 1/4 cup full cream milk
- 1 spoon baking powder
- Few dried rose petals
- 1tsp rose water
- Powderd herbs (oregano, thyme & Rosemary)
- 1 tsp melon seeds (optional)
- Salt to taste.
Recipe:
- I took 9 inches cake pan.
- Grease the cake pan with oil.
- Line the bottom of the pan with butter papper.
- Mix the dry ingredients in to a bowl & keep aside.
- In a large bowl, beat the eggs with brown sugar for a minute.
- Add olive oil & beat till well combined.
- Add milk, rose water, dried rose petals, herbs & mix well.
- Add dry ingredients to the mixture.
- Mix well & pour the batter in the cake pan.
- Preheat your oven at 180 degree & bake the cake for 18-20 minutes.
Enjoy the Herbal keema cake with mint chutney or tomato chutney.
