Ingredients:
- 5 large potatoes
- 1/2 cup mustard oil/ olive oil
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp roasted garlic powder
- 2 tbsp paprika
- 1 tbsp oregano
- Salt to taste
- 1 spoon chili flakes
- Chopped coriander for garnish
- 5 metal skewers
Instructions:
- Wash & dry the potatoes.
- Push a metal/wooden skewer through the center of each potato.
- Working in a spiral motion from one side to the other, hold a very sharp knife at an angle & cut in the opposite direction, turn the skewered potato, cut all the way to the skewer.
- In a bowl, add mustard oil, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, oregano powder, chili flakes & mix with a spoon.
- Then brush over the potatoes on both sides.
- Preheat your oven at 200 °C & bake for 25 minutes until nicely browned.
- Garnish with finely chopped coriander.
