To make banana flower lollipop, you need

Ingredients:
  1. 1 medium sized banana flower
  2. Few toothpicks
  3. Garam masala
  4. Rice flour & corn flour (1:1) 
  5. Turmeric
  6. Pinch of hing (optional) 
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Oil for frying
  9. Oregano
  10. Paprika
  11. Chat masala
  12. Black salt

Recipe
  1. Peel off the outer layers of the banana flower. 
  2. Take the tender inner part & cut it in to circular pieces. 
  3. Insert toothpicks in to them & make lollipop shapes. 
  4. Steam the lollipops in the steamer ( Don't boil) for 15-17 minutes on the high flame. 
  5. Dry them with tissue papers & keep aside. 
  6. Make a thick batter of rice flour & corn flour (1:1), add garam masala, salt, turmeric, pinch of hing, oregano, paprika & water. Batter is ready now. 
  7. Add steamed banana flower lollipops to the batter & keep for a minute. 
  8. Heat the oil, pull out the lollipops with batter & drop them in the hot oil. 
  9. Fry till lollipops turn golden brown. 
  10. Keep them on a plate with tissue paper to drain out the excess oil. 
  11. Add black salt, chat masala & mix well. 

Enjoy Banana flower lollipops with mint chutney or ketchup.
